Pelayat yang sedang menangis sedih dan bersimbah air mata di menjelang pemakaman di Mesir tiba-tiba saja merayakan pesta gara-gara mayat yang sedang mereka makamkan tiba-tiba bangun dan hidup kembali. Hamdi Hafez al-Nubi, pelayan rumah tangga berusia 28 tahun yang sempat mendapat gelar almarhum dari Naga al-Simmanm, dekat Luxor, Mesir sudah dinyatakan meninggal karena serangan jantung. Kabar ini diangkat koran Daily Mail, London, Inggris.

Jenazahnya sedang dikafani ketika yang sedang menyiapkan sertifikat kemaatiannnya, mendapatkan bahwa tubuhnya masih hangat,Mendapati tubuh masih hangat, dokter melakukan pemeriksaan lanjut dan kaget karena mayat itu masih tetap bernafas.

Orang pun kaget karena yang sedang mereka kafani tersebut ternyata masih hidup.
Selain membatalkan pemakaman, para pelayatjustru berpesta karena mayat bisa bernafas lagi.
Ini bukan kejadian pertama orang mati hidup lagi di dunia. Bulan lalu, nenek Cina yang sudah berusia 95 tahun keluar dari peti matinya, setelah enam hari diperkirakan meninggal. Dia meninggal ditengarai karena jatuh.
Li Xiufeng ditemukan tak bergerak-geral lagi dan tek bernafas lagi di tempat tidurnya oleh tetangga setelah dua minggu pening-pening dan mengalami luka di Beiliu, Provinsi Guangxi.

Para tetangga yang menemukan pensiunan tua ini tak bangun-bangun, mengira sang nenek ini sudah tewas. Menunggu penguburan, mayat yang sudah dipakaikan pakaian bagus-bagus ini, dimasukkan ke peti mati Cina yang khas tersebut, dan biasanya tidak dibaut, dan mudah dibuka.

Sehari menjelang penguburan, tetangga menemukan peti matinya sudah kosong. Mereka menemukan sang nenek di dapur sedang memasak.
